Fitness and healthy living is a subject that is close to my heart, my heart jitters whenever this topic comes up and I mean really jitter. Once I start jumping there really is no stopping me. I love exercise, some people think I overdo it, but then again, we all know how people will always have something to say.
Not to sound cocky or anything, but I like to think of myself as an ardent advocate for healthy living and all things fitness. I can’t say though that I’m really where I’d would like to be in terms of my own physically fitness, I guess people are used to effectually being influenced by my habits. Colleagues and friends are almost always prone to take up to a day at the gym next door to my house. Being active is my continual passion.
There is a great project that Virgin Active recently started that they are calling the Live Happily Ever Active livehappilyeveractiveproject with their catchy slogan “can exercising make you happier?” My answer is a very big YES!! It has been scientifically proven that when you exercise, your body releases nature’s happy hormones called Endorphins. Herewith is a link to back up my claim natural therapy pages That’s really all it takes to being a happier being, easy huh? Just move and you will be happy, simple as that.
The article would be an incomplete one if I didn’t mention the persistently on-going battle between Cardio and Weights. The dispute has been going on for decades, as to what is better than the other. I’m pleased to report that both Cardio and Weights provide varied yet unique benefits, according to this study done by my much-loved health magazine Womens health magazine . It is more beneficial to do both rather than focusing on just one. In that way you will achieve your desired super machine body in just a matter of time.
Getting your fitness swag does not just happen overnight, it takes self-discipline, hard work, and sweat. Keeping in mind what you ingest, eating healthy is just as important as your Virgin Active or Planet Fitness gym lifestyle. I’m saddened when I see people close to me negligently stuff themselves with all kinds of toxic junk.
It is time that people take charge and hold the bull by its horns; we should all make sure that anything that we eat is as balanced as we were taught in our kindergarten diet class. It is vital to equip one with what I call the nutritional ABC’s. This will assist you in making informative healthy decisions.
